Australian Motorcycle Apparel Company SA1NT Announces US Distribution

SA1NT has new distribution in North America. At one point, Revzilla was selling the Australian motorcycle apparel in the U.S. but has since discontinued its involvement with the brand. A quick perusal of the internet shows mixed reviews from consumers and journalists alike. Hopefully, at some point in the future, Motorcycle.com will have the opportunity to test SA1NT’s gear for ourselves.

Triumph Teases All-New Speed Triple 1200 RS

I knew it was coming and now it’s finally here – sort of. Triumph has just released a teaser video for the all-new Speed Triple 1200 RS. The current Speed Triple was starting to get long in the tooth, so we had a feeling an updated version was on the way. But at the time of the Most Anticipated article Triumph hadn’t let any information loose about the new bike.

Paris-Dakar Tire Repair 101, With Toby Price

Australian enduro ace Toby Price was running well in the top three of this year’s Paris-Dakar Rally even after having suffered through a series of unfortunate events. One of them was a rear tire that appeared to have been attacked by a chainsaw or something, but must’ve been just a BSR – Big Sharp Rock. Did that keep Toby down? It did not. If you’re an aspiring enduro rider, watch and learn. Being able to make field-expedient repairs is critical in many forms of human endeavor. Especially crazy ones like Paris-Dakar.

Indian PowerPlus Stage 2 Performance Cams Bump Challenger Output 10%

Your stock 108 cubic-inch liquid-cooled PowerPlus engine in Indian’s excellent Challenger delivers 122 horsepower and 128 ft-lbs. of torque, claims Indian. By pairing these new Stage 2 Performance Cams with Indian’s PowerPlus Stage 1 Air Intake and Stage 1 Slip-On Exhaust, “riders will experience the unquestionable sensation of increased power the moment they twist the throttle,” to the tune of 10%. We were assured there would be no math, but that should be 12 more hp and 13 more ft-lbs. (Our stocker made 95 hp and 112 ft-lbs at the rear wheel in our Dec. 2019 Indian/H-D comparison.)

Jimmy Lewis: Paris-Dakar Navigation Wizard

I think the last time I rode with Jimmy Lewis was when the Honda XR200 was new, and we were both employed at Cycle World magazine. But I remember being astounded at the kid’s sense of direction, since I have none, in the middle of nowhere. Now that there’s GPS and all that, it may be even more important to be able to navigate by the seat of your pants. There’s a fun story about our homegrown Paris-Dakar  riders Ricky Brabec and Andrew Short training with Jimmy from his ranch in Nevada, here at NBCsports.com.

Honda CTs of Bosozoku Bike Siam

Funny how I was able to spend all these years mostly not even aware of the most mass-produced motorcycle on the planet – Honda’s Super Cub and its offshoots over the last six decades. But now that Honda’s importing CTs to the US again, and we had the chance to “test” one a few weeks ago, I’m freshly cognizant of just how ubiquitous the most mass-produced vehicle on earth really is.

Take that with a grain of salt if you wish).

The latest is this iXS1100 2.2 lid, which iXS describes as “an excellent all-rounder” with an “optimal price-performance ratio.” It doesn’t get much more optimal than $119 US for a nice full-face helmet that’s ECE approved.
