MotoGP Returns to Finland

For the first time since 1982, premier-class motorcycles returned to Finland, testing on the brand new KymiRing in preparation for next year’s Finnish MotoGP. Located 85 miles north of Helsinki, the all-new 2.85-mile circuit lays nine rights and nine lefts over undulating terrain with 20 meters of up and down. The 2020 MotoGP schedule has yet to be finalized, but the Finnish MotoGP will be on it. It’s kind of a big deal.

Wendy Crockett of Rapid City, South Dakota has become the first ever woman to win the Iron Butt Rally, an 11-day 11,000+ mile event spanning North America. Crockett and her faithful 2005 Yamaha FJR1300 pulled off the mind-blowing – and butt-numbing – feat of traversing 12,998.9 miles with a score of 154,086 during the 11-day event. Points are accumulated via checkpoints for various parameters and tracking verifications with bonus points available for additional verification such as photo evidence.
