Scorpion Launches Nationally Televised Ad – Video
Scorpion helmets have progressed a long way since I first wore one many years ago as a starving student looking for quality kit. For 2013, the brand has jumped into the MotoGP circus head-on, sponsoring 17 riders across MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 with its top-of-the-line EXO-R2000 helmet, which is set to debut stateside this Fall.
To raise awareness to the brand in front of the US market, Scorpion has launched a nationally televised ad campaign that will air during all MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 races broadcast on Fox Sports (aka SPEED Channel). You can see the commercial below.
The ad debuted during the recent Laguna Seca MotoGP event, highlighting the all new EXO-R2000, which is worn by Premier class racers Alvaro Bautista, Hector Barbera, and Yonny Hernandez, who will also be donning the EXO-R2000 at the next MotoGP race at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
If you’re going to be at Indy during the grand prix, be sure to stop by the Scorpion booth, as it will be celebrating the launch of the new helmet with autograph sessions and promotional specials throughout the weekend.
