We’ve written about BearTek gloves before, but we haven’t been able to get our hands on them until we visited the BearTek booth at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Fla.

For the uninitiated, BearTek gloves are Bluetooth-enabled and allow users to control their smartphones without taking off the gloves or even removing their hands from the handlebars. Once you get used to the functions, answering your phone or controlling your music is easy as touching a finger and thumb together. It’s brilliant technology and something that should help motorcyclists stay safer by keeping their hands where they should be.

BearTek also introduced a new module to control a GoPro camera the same way you can control your phone. Now you don’t have to worry about fumbling with your camera when you are on the move and want to record something.
