2025 Triumph Thruxton FE – First Look
The Final Edition
Will we ever see another Triumph Thruxton?! Well, probably since the name dates back to race bikes of the ’60s, but Triumph tells us this is it for the current-gen Thruxton with model year 2025’s Final Edition (FE).
Based on the high-spec Thruxton RS, this special edition gets a tasty Competition Green paint job with hand-striped gold linework signed by the striper themselves. Of course, who will believe you without a certificate of authenticity? Thankfully, you’ll have one signed by members of the Thruxton design team as well as the man himself, Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor. You’ll even have a unique Final Edition engine badge to place on the mantle or your office desk to let your family or coworkers know that you know the good stuff – assuming those are two different places.
“This is an exciting and exclusive opportunity for Triumph Thruxton enthusiasts to stake their claim to a rare piece of Triumph history and to own the ultimate Thruxton at the zenith of its development,” says Triumph.
Whaddya get with the RS model? A torquey 1,200cc HP-sauced Parallel Twin engine that Triumph says cranks 104 horses, a fully-adjustable Showa inverted fork and Öhlins piggy-back shocks, spoked wheels shod with Metzeler Racetec RR rubber, and Brembo M50 calipers that slow your roll with ease. And since it’s not 1964, some tech by way of ABS, traction control, three ride modes, and USB charging is all included, too.
It’s been a minute, but when we first rode the Thruxton RS waaaay back in January of 2020 just before shit hit the fan, it tickled our fancy in sporting fashion not previously seen with such classic style.
“The Thruxton has a special place in the hearts of many motorcyclists, and we are all immensely proud of this Final Edition, which captures the essence of the British café racer scene. The Thruxton will bow out of production at the very pinnacle of its development with a special edition that secures its place in the history books of Triumph Motorcycles,” says Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud.

At $17,995, one cool Cleveland over the standard Thruxton RS will get you the Final Edition so you can show off your exclusivity. Pre-orders are open now with bikes slated to arrive Stateside in Spring 2024.
