Enthusiast Collection models sport muscle car-inspired graphics

Along with the new Electra Glide Highway King Icon model, Harley-Davidson announced new limited edition versions of the Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST, and Road Glide ST as part of its ongoing Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection.

Harley-Davidson says the Enthusiast Collection celebrates the "diversity of our community and the unique backgrounds and interests of the people within it." The collection began with last year's G.I. Enthusiast collection, and for 2023, the collection is named Fast Johnnie, after the pig mascot of the famed Harley-Davidson Wrecking Crew, and part of the inspiration for the company's "Hog" moniker. Adopted in 1920 by Ray Weischaar, a member of the Wrecking Crew, the piglet Johnnie became a fixture with the team, often perched on the fuel tank for a post-race victory lap.

The Fast Johnnie paint scheme is inspired by muscle cars of the '60s and '70s, with a bold base color with contrasting racing stripes. In this case, it's a Celestial Blue color with white racing stripes. The stripes are applied to the front and rear fenders, the fuel tank, side panels, fairings and saddlebags.

The fuel tank features the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo on the right side, and on the left is a graphic of the Fast Johnnie mascot. Completing the look is the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo on the rear fender.

Beyond the special paint and graphics, the Fast Johnnie models are mechanically identical to the regular production models.

Harley-Davidson will limit production to no more than 2,000 Fast Johnnie motorcycles combined across the three models for each model [UPDATE May 3, 2023: the initial announcement said there would be up to 2,000 bikes made from all three models combined; Harley-Davidson has since issued a correction, saying that number is for each model]. The Fast Johnnie Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST are priced at $32,899, or a $2,900 premium over the regular models in Vivid Black. The Fast Johnnie Low Rider ST adds $1,900 to the regular model's base price, bringing it up to $24,099.
