It’s Joshua Hayes, almost unrecognizable in this Instagram pic. To me, anyway.

“How about a #throwbackthursday to 1994 with my commuter/race bike and a couple WERA National Championships. Could not have imagined what it would all lead to. #nevergiveup”

In a long and storied career that began with those `94 WERA championships and didn’t end until last season (let’s see, that’s… 23 years at the top), Josh won four AMA Superbike titles, a slew of other AMA championships, and even finished seventh at the 2011 Valencia MotoGP, subbing for Colin Edwards. Not bad.

Congratulations, champ.
