Along with the launch of the new RM-Z450, Suzuki announced the return of the RM-Z250 and RM85 for 2015. Both smaller motocrossers return unchanged, though the slightly larger RM85L variant was not announced for the new model year.

The 2015 Suzuki RM-Z250 retains the same 249cc liquid-cooled Single as the 2014 model including the swappable EFI couplers for selecting richer or leaner fueling. The Renthal FatBars, Excel aluminum wheels and wave brake discs are also the same.

The front suspension uses the same fully-adjustable Showa Separate Function Fork as last year’s model but lacks the 450’s new air fork. Showa also supplies piggyback shock.

Curb weight is a claimed 235 pounds.

The 2015 Suzuki RM85 returns unchanged with the same 84.7cc single-cylinder two-stroke as the 2014 model. Features include fully-adjustable 37mm inverted Showa forks, six-speed transmission, 33.5-inch seat height and claimed 161-pound curb weight.

The RM85 comes with a 17-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel designed for the AMA’s 85cc class regulations. The RM85L with its larger 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel was not announced.
