Riding Instruction From Troy Bayliss
The Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) returns for 2013 featuring the Troy Bayliss Academy. The DRE celebrates its 10th year in 2013 with 12 dates at some of the Italy’s most famous tracks.
The DRE not only provides instruction for everyone from the beginner rider to the track day specialist but also the opportunity to ride Ducati motorcycles. DRE courses include: Basic (Monster 796), Intermediate (Monster 1100 ABS, Multistrada 1200, Hypermotard), Racing 1 (1199 Panigale), Racing 2 (1199 Panigale), Master Racing (1199 Panigale S), and the Troy Bayliss Academy (1199 Panigale S + racing kit).
Chief DRE Instructor and highly successful racer, Dario Marchetti, coordinates an impressive line-up of instructors, including Troy Bayliss (three-times World Superbike Champion), Marco Lucchinelli (500 World Champion), Manuel Poggiali (125 and 250 World Champion), Paolo Casoli (World Supersport Champion), Andrew Pitt (two-time World Supersport Champion) and Niccolò Canepa (2013 FIM Superstock Championship competitor). Ducati’s own development riders, Alessandro Valia, instructs the Master Racing courses.
Attendees are provided with a Ducati motorcycle, instructor, lunch and a welcome kit. Anyone lacing the proper riding gear can rent some in advance during the sign up process.
