Look both ways before you cross the road. Look again.

We’ve been watching our calendars, soon we’ll be watching our clocks. It’s finally, almost – nearly here! A high-speed motorcycle race across hillside terrain and through city streets. Hells yeah! For many years the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy was the most prestigious motorcycle race in the world. Now, just as in the past – racers pit themselves and their machines against the death defying course. Speeds have increased greatly since motor racing began on the Isle of Man in the early 1900’s. Early motorcyclists would tackle the terrain at speeds of 40 mph (65 km/h). A casual jog compared to the white-knuckled speeds of today. The barrier of a 200 km/h (124 mph) lap speed was broken open in the early 2000’s. The 2009 Isle of Man TT race, need I say more...
