Harley-Davidson Reveals Two Electric Urban Mobility Concepts at CES

Along side the new 2019 LiveWire, Harley-Davidson revealed two electric urban mobility concepts at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The two as-yet-unnamed concepts, a mountain bike-style vehicle and a scooterish looking model, give us the first looks at a selection of “lightweight urban” electric models that Harley-Davidson says will go into production in 2021 and 2022.

Yamaha Concepts at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show

We’re approaching the fall motorcycle show season and while most of the industry is focused on next month’s EICMA show, we can’t overlook the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show which begins next week. Naturally, Tokyo is an important show for the Japanese manufacturers, and Yamaha, for one, looks to have a big presence with six models – either concepts or production models – set to make their world premieres in Tokyo.

2015 Tokyo Motor Show

Motorcycle show season is now well underway with the second big show on the calendar, the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. While AIMExpo had a powersports focus, the Tokyo show is a mixture of both automotive and motorcycle industries. And while the biggest new model announcements are typically reserved for EICMA, the Tokyo show has a reputation introducing some outrageous concepts as well as a few production models.
