The original scalpel is back.

For 2024, KTM is back with the 790 Duke, bringing its signature style and performance to the streets. First launched in 2017, the 790 Duke has made its mark in the worldwide market with its fun power and handling.

At its heart, the 2024 KTM 790 DUKE is powered by the LC8c engine, known for its compact design and torque. With 105 HP and 87 Nm of torque, this motorcycle offers a balance of power that's easy to handle. European riders can also opt for a 95 HP engine derivative, suitable for A2 license configuration.

The 2024 KTM 790 DUKE retains its nimble handling and agility, perfect for sporty street riding. High-quality WP APEX suspension ensures a smooth ride and a comprehensive electronics package provides various ride modes, including RAIN, STREET, SPORT, and optional TRACK settings, allowing riders to customize traction and throttle control to suit different road and weather conditions.

In terms of aesthetics, the 2024 KTM 790 DUKE maintains its aggressive look that carried over into the 890 Duke and Duke R, before returning back to its 790 roots.

For riders looking to personalize their motorcycles and gear, KTM offers a range of specially developed KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear.

KTM 790 DUKE and KTM 790 ADVENTURE are manufactured by CFMOTO, but they were designed and developed via KTM R&D in Austria and North America.

KTM 790 Duke, the "Original Scalpel" is back due to popular demand. It should never have been stopped from production, but now I understand why it happened. It was simply going through a shift to becoming manufactured by CFMOTO due to the KTM-CFMOTO joint venture. In fact, CFMOTO has the rights to the LC8c motor, so they'll be producing the new 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 as well at their factory. CFMOTO took on a huge task of building the engine and assembling both bikes - 790 Duke and Svartpilen 801 - in entirety. I think we're going to see a significant improvement in the build quality and eventually trickled down reliability to the consumer. KTM and Husqvarna are my new brands of choice. These two bikes are best for the buck models, you get so much for your money. Problem is, which one do you pick, the KTM or the new Husky, I love both, very similar but entirely different looks. You have to pick between the Aggressive Ready-to-Race Naked Streetfighter or the Scrambler-Like Neo-Street Tracker. I want both, but just a one-bike guy, not by choice.
