MUC-OFF LAUNCHES NEW ULTIMATE ANTI-CORROSION PRODUCT HCB-1
POOLE 02.03.2021 — Muc-Off, the global leaders in bicycle and motorcycle care and maintenance, releases an all-new anti-corrosion product – HCB-1.
HCB-1 (Harsh Conditions Barrier) contains a state-of-the-art formula that creates a thin-film coating when applied to metal which provides long-term protection against rust and corrosion. The HCB-1 formula leaves a thin, non-sticky transparent film that creates a self-healing barrier preventing corrosion from forming. This barrier lasts for up to 12 months and is incredibly effective in the very harshest of conditions such as: heat, extreme cold and salt, making it ideal for protecting your pride and joy.

HCB-1 has been put through rigorous testing against competitor products during its 36 month R&D program to ensure that it drives out moisture and creates a durable anti-corrosion barrier. During development, it far outlasted the competitive set where it endured 300+ hours of intensive salt spray testing (to the ASTM B-117 accelerated corrosion testing standard) before any rust appeared. HCB-1 is designed to continually penetrate corrosion and with its strong capillary action, it will spread into the tightest cracks and seams to remove moisture and chemically neutralize salt whilst leaving behind a tough, durable barrier. HCB-1 is rusts enemy and kills existing corrosion on contact. It can even be applied to components that have already rusted to remove the potential of further rust and corrosion.
Like many products from Muc-Off, the formula contains a UV application dye, so users can simply shine a UV torch onto the area they have applied HCB-1 onto, and check that it’s hit every microcrack and seam, another inventive way to provide complete confidence and protection.
HCB-1 is safe to apply on paintwork and most rigid plastic. It can be used on all bicycles, ebikes, motorcycles, classic & modern cars, ATVs, UTVs, 4×4’s, snowmobiles and watercraft. It
