Has it really been 30 years since Tom Cruise wowed the crowd with his flying, shagging, and Ninja-riding stylings in the original naval-gazing Top Gun? Actually it’s been 33 years; the original burst onto the big screen in 1986. Captain Maverick, who should be an admiral by now, looks remarkably well-preserved and is still at it – shooting down bad guys, questioning authority and even riding without a helmet after all these years.
