Begin Press Release:

Seattle, WA(July 10, 2018) Over the last decade, the non-profit volunteer organization, Backcountry Discovery Routes, has created eight off-road routes for the adventure motorcycling community to enjoy. For the month of July, all donations will be doubled by a matching grant. Go to www.RideBDR.com now to help support the creation of new BDR routes and preserve riding opportunities for the ADV community.

This year BDR launched the Mid-Atlantic BDR which was a huge success, breaking records for film premieres and map sales. The organization is now working to complete the highly anticipated Southern California BDR, set for release in 2019. Nine hundred miles east, the team is working to create the Wyoming BDR, which it hopes to launch in early 2020. With 48% of the state being public land, the WYBDR is bound to be extraordinary. And that’s just a small part of what the BDR crew is currently working on.

As you can imagine, it costs money to keep this route-creating engine running. While we strive to continue producing these incredible ‘turn-key’ motorcycle vacations for the community on an annual basis, we run on a shoestring budget. The sheer amount of hours and money our volunteers put into the BDR, is staggering. This July, the BDR organization is asking the community to give back, and take advantage of the matching grant that will double their contribution.”

— Inna Thorn, BDR Director of Operations

During the month of July, every dollar you donate will be doubled by a matching grant pledged at the annual BDR fundraiser in May, which means your contribution of $100 becomes $200 to the BDR.

If you’ve experienced a BDR, or aspire to ride one soon, now is your chance to make a real difference and double your impact. Go to www.RideBDR.com and click Donate today!
