Rizoma USA Kicks Off Motorcycle Design Event Series At The One Show Portland

Inaugural event hosted by design legend Miguel Galluzzi

Brooklyn, NY, February 5th 2018. Premium hard parts maker Rizoma has launched its first ever Behind the Build series, a live event tour that brings together custom motorcycle builders, renowned designers, and local riding communities for a behind-the-scenes look at motorcycle craftsmanship and design. The series launches on Saturday, February 10 at the One Moto Show in Portland, OR, with a Q&A session moderated by renowned motorcycle designer Miguel Galluzzi.

“The One Show is a unique time for admiring all the design creativity, passion and hard efforts these builders put into their works. I am happy and excited to participate in something that sheds a bit more light into the work that goes into them,” says Galluzzi.

Each Behind the Build event showcases a panel of custom bike builders, giving show attendees insights into their creative processes and providing a unique opportunity for a live Q&A with the builders. Following the One Show, the Behind the Build series will continue to other major American custom bike shows: Mama Tried in Milwaukee WI; The OG Moto Show in Los Angeles; The Handbuilt Show in Austin TX; and The Brooklyn Invitational in New York City.

“The American custom motorcycle scene is full of talented artisans and vibrant characters. We feel there is a big opportunity to showcase the quality of work these individuals put out, and at the same time shed a spotlight on the quality of Rizoma products. The community interest and potential to tap into this passion is tremendous.” says Rizoma/REV’IT! USA Director of Operations Paolo Bacchiarello.

The Portland round of Behind The Build will spotlight builders from a wide spectrum of design styles: Hugo Eccles of Untitled Motorcycles; Alex Earle of Earle Motors; Mark Atkinson of SOC Racing; and Craig Rodsmith of Rodsmith Motorcycles.

All Rizoma Behind the Build events are open to the public, but RSVP is required. For more information or to reserve a place, visit www.rizomabehindthebuild.com

Behind the Build is presented in cooperation with REV’IT! USA.
