Vincent Black Shadow Sells for Record Price in Las Vegas

An unrestored 1951 Vincent Black Lightning went for $929,000 at Bonham’s LV auction, breaking the previous record for a single motorcycle of $775,000 set in 2015. One of 30 built, this one was exported to Australia and set that country’s land speed record. It was never owned by Steve McQueen. Bigger story here at LATimes.com.
