Eli Tomac Takes Inaugural Monster Energy Supercross Triple Crown Win in Anaheim
Round three of Monster Energy AMA Supercross continues to further shake things up at Anaheim 2. Last year’s outdoor champion finally takes an overall win and Jason Anderson extends his points lead. Cole Seely had an awesome breakout performance, ultimately landing on the second step and Weston Peick continues to crush it. The rest of the 450SX pack was completely jumbled up with big-timers Barcia, Roczen and Musquin finishing eighth, ninth and thirteenth overall, respectively.
The 250SX class proved to be more consistent with Joey Savatgy taking the overall, followed by Shane McElrath and Christian Craig rounding out the podium. AC92 just missed the podium in fourth, Aaron Plessinger lost his red plate and rookie Chase Sexton had another great run, leading most of the the third main event.
