Cypress, CA – January 1, 2018 – Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., has announced its 2018 Factory Supercross/Motocross team, featuring riders Cooper Webb and his new teammates Davi Millsaps and Justin Barcia.

Keith McCarty, Motorsports Racing Division Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., said, “We’re excited to have Cooper back for a second year, and we welcome Davi and Justin to our Yamaha Factory Racing team. Our rider lineup for 2018 is one of the strongest we’ve ever had, and they’ll be riding the brand-new 2018 YZ450F, which is definitely one of the best bikes we’ve ever had. Everyone at Yamaha is looking forward to watching these three riders race and win in 2018.”

Cooper commented, “I worked hard during the off-season to ensure that I’m in the best possible shape I can be in, and I feel really good. The new 2018 YZ450F is an amazing bike, and I feel confident that I’ve got the best machine, along with the best team, with which to contend for race wins and Championships in 2018.”

Davi said, “First of all, I’m super-excited to be racing for the Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory team. To be making my Yamaha debut aboard the 2018 YZ450F is going to be awesome. Also, how cool is it that I’ll be running my signature #18 on the ’18 Yamaha in 2018? I can’t wait!”

Commenting on his return to Yamaha, Justin said, “This is a great opportunity for me, and not only am I really happy to be back racing a Yamaha again, but I’m especially excited to be racing for the Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory team.
