MV Agusta Presents the 2018 Model Range and Completes Their Restructuring Plan

Varese, November 15, 2017 – During the EICMA motorcycle show, the most renowned motorcycle show in the world, the all new MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR was voted among the 3 most beautiful bikes of the year.

The Dragster 900 RR is completely new. Engine, chassis, and electronics: these are the three principle areas where the engineers in MV Agusta and the Castiglioni Research Center have once again driven innovation, continuing the tradition of excellence and originality that the historic Italian brand is notoriously known for.

Together with the show star, MV Agusta has also presented a completely updated product line, starting with the Brutale 800 RR and introducing the new Brutale 800 in the RC “Reparto Corse” model range along with the existing F3 675 RC, F3 800 RC, Dragster 800 RC and Turismo Veloce RC which are noted for their uncompromising performance inspired by the MV Agusta Racing Team, protagonist in both the 2017 World Supersport and World Superbike championships.

Additionally, MV Agusta has launched a successful new partnership with another iconic Italian brand, Pirelli, who is known world-wide for excellence in manufacturing high performance tires. Pirelli, through their internal design group, Pirelli Design, have collaborated with MV Agusta to develop two motorcycle versions that celebrate the synergy between these historic brands. The Brutale 800 RR Pirelli will be available in a very limited number for clients whom strive for a relentless pursuit of perfection in the smallest detail.

MV Agusta, after a very important period focusing on the repositioning of the brand and redefinition of the company strategy, have enhanced their core values, their extraordinary creativity, and engineering potential while, at the same time, implementing very rigorous financial monitoring of both costs and investments. The result of these actions is directly measurable in the increased number of orders received at the EICMA show, which were higher than those originally planned for in the 2018 production schedule.

MV Agusta, whom just today have completed its turn-around objective by receiving the formal homologation of their restructuring plan, is strong thanks to the recent recapitalization through the new partner ComSar Invest. ComSar Invest is an investment group headed by the Sardarov family, partner with Giovanni Castiglioni as shareholders of the company. This union will reinforce the sole objective of MV Agusta of consolidating their leadership in the production of two-wheeled art.

Giovanni Castiglioni, President of MV Agusta has commented: “I am very satisfied with having successfully completed a very complex restructuring and repositioning plan of a brand that I believe to be a true icon of “Made in Italy” in the world. We will continue to work with determination to consolidate all of our goals”.

Timur Sadarov, new MV Agusta Vice President, has declared: “Our investment in MV Agusta is based on a long term vision with the objectives to both sustain and grow this iconic motorcycle brand. MV Agusta is a very unique company that has allowed us to become a part of an extended family, including the workers, shareholders and our clients whom share our passion for produtcs that are world renowned for quality, design and performance”.
