I like the man who, famously, may or may not have called the President “a f***ing moron” even better now that I know he’s a rider. The lead photo comes from May 28, when the Secretary of State rode a Harley on the 30th anniversary of Rolling Thunder.
But that’s not what this story is about. This story, lifted from today’s Washington Post, is about how dangerous those wacky baby boomers are. A new report from the AAA says the mortality rate for riders who are 60 or older is more than four times the overall increase in motorcycle deaths for 2016. From 2015 to 2016, motorcycle fatalities rose 5.1 percent, AAA says, while deaths among older baby boomers increased more than 20 percent.
