Roadracer Danny Eslick's Perfect Season

This little tidbit was sent to us by our friend Bob Dragich, who has been writing about roadracing for a long time and was once a member of our sales team. In his short piece below, he notes that TOBC racing team’s Danny Eslick, the three-time AMA roadracing champion (Daytona Sportbike in 2009 and 2011; Harley XR1200 in 2010) and occasional wild man, did something in the 2017 MotoAmerica season than no other Superbike or 1000cc Superstock rider did: He finished every race this season.

Danny Eslick and the TOBC racing team posted a strong finish to the 2017 MotoAmerica season. On September 9 at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Danny got his first win of the season in the Bazzaz 1000cc Superstock class on his Yamaha YZF-R1 and followed it up with a third place in the class the following day.

This past weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, Danny finished second in 1000cc Superstock on Saturday and third on Sunday, giving him four podiums in the last four races of the year. Of all the 1000cc Superstock and Superbike racers who attended every MotoAmerica round this year, Danny is the only one to finish every single race. Danny is shown (in the photo above) with his tuner and successful former racer Scott Harwell.
