According to that esteemed publication, “In 1998, only 8% of motorcycle owners were women. By 2014, the most recent year in which the [Motorcycle Industry] council has statistics, female ownership had increased to 14%.”
We see it every day here at MO, and we couldn’t be happier to bump into more women on two wheels every time we ride, which can only lead to greater acceptance and awareness for all of us. It’s nice to see the mainstream media taking note. The whole USA Today article is here.
