EagleRider Reaches Milestone: 25 Years of Fulfilling Motorcycle Dreams

This Year Marks the Motorcycle Rental and Tour Company’s Silver Anniversary

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 8, 2017) – What comes to mind when you picture the American Dream? A successful entrepreneur who started with nothing but an old computer in a home garage? Or a motorcyclist on the open road, with nothing but a leather jacket and an American Flag on his or her bike? At EagleRider, the company’s founders had both visions and are celebrating 25 years of success as a homegrown business with a quintessentially American focus.

Switch that computer in the home garage to four motorcycles and you’ll have a clear picture of EagleRider’s humble beginnings. In 1992, EagleRider pioneered the motorcycle rental and tour business from an L.A. garage. The company’s founders – Chris McIntyre and Jeff Brown – were inspired to start the business while on a motorcycle trip through Big Sur, where they met a group of friendly international tourists wishing they, too, could travel through Northern California on two wheels instead of four.

The company was such a quick success that it opened its first franchise within five years. A little more than five years after that, EagleRider opened its first international location in Spain. By 2008, the company hired its 100th employee.

Today, the EagleRider brand has become synonymous with motorcycle adventure and is the largest provider of motorcycle travel experiences worldwide. In the last 25 years, thousands of riders from all corners of the world have fulfilled their fantasies of riding iconic roads on their dream bike, with the help of EagleRider’s wide selection of motorcycle brands and models at over 100 locations worldwide.

The motorcycle industry continues to evolve and adapt to the demands and preferences of riders, giving EagleRider the opportunity to strengthen its position as the go-to motorcycle travel company. This year, EagleRider became the exclusive U.S. provider of rentals and tours for Harley-Davidson

“We are so proud to be celebrating our Silver Anniversary at EagleRider. It has been an incredible 25 years. It took a lot of hard work and passion to reach this point,” said Co-founder and Chief Experience
Officer, Chris McIntyre. “We look to the future as we expand and grow more riders who will enjoy incredible motorcycle travel experiences with us.”

In celebration of this milestone year, EagleRider is planning multiple activities to toast its existing fans and encourage new audiences to get on a bike.
