Best Preseason MotoGP Photos
The official MotoGP website released a collection of their best photos from Sepang and Phillip Island pre-season testing. The 2017 MotoGP pre-season has been underway since November in the first stop, Valencia, where we saw Vinales begin his domination in his debut atop the Yamaha M1. Following Valencia, Vinales consistently laid down the fastest lap times at Sepang and Phillip Island with reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez nipping at his heels along the way. Marquez caused a bit of a scare this weekend at Honda’s private testing session at Jerez after a crash in turn seven in which he dislocated his shoulder briefly, but is said to be fit for the season with no further injuries. Testing will be wrapping up shortly with the final pre-season session taking place at Qatar’s Losail International Circuit, March 10th through the 12th, just two weeks before the 2017 MotoGP season will kickoff this year’s action from the same location.
