Indianapolis Metropolitan Drill Team to Perform at Trump Inauguration!
According to this story at WBIW.com, the 21 Road King-riding members of the Indianapolis PD Drill Team will be performing at their seventh presidential inauguration (the first was JFK’s, in 1961!)
The report goes on to say, “These motorcycles are assigned to the officer and are used in their daily traffic enforcement duties. The Drill Team executes a multitude of precise and difficult drills requiring months of practice and choreography. The thrilling performances require both concentration and athletic ability to maneuver the 800 pound precision machines. While performing, twelve motorcycles carry a letter so officers can position to spell ‘Indianapolis’ or ‘Indiana’.”
So much for reports that Trump was having a hard time getting A-list talent!
