Energica To Unveil New Concept Model At EICMA

Press Release from Energica: For the 6th consecutive year, Energica is ready to bring its state-of-the-art products to EICMA, the world’s most important event in motorcycle industry. From November 10th through 13th the Italian electric motorcycles will be at Hall 14 Booth E34. The new features will underline the astounding attention to detail on all the proposals, as well as the unique Italian design.

Huge development is taking place in the Energica R&D Dept., a key driver for the company products innovation. According to Eicma 2016 slogan “Bikes never seen,” already adopted on Energica models. The company with this new concept will approach the most recent motorcycle market trends.

Energica Motor will unveil a new color – Lunar White – for both Ego, the sportbike, and Eva, the streetfighter. Then people will see a preview of new OZ wheels, to be launched for the first time and tested on Energica.

At Eicma there will be the opportunity to deepen the Value Plan, new commercial strategies launched last September. Energica is working on a plan to warranty the value of 2 years used Energica motorcycles. The plan works as follow:

After 24 months from the motorcycle registration (minus 1 as notice), the Customer, based on its own feeling experience, has to choose between the two options.

The trade-in of the motorcycle will be up to the local dealer that originally sold the bike. The extra bonus will be paid directly to final customers by Energica Motor Company.

Fast Charge Infrastructure Program

Energica intends to deploy an installation plan of fast charge points targeting the best roads motorcyclists love to ride through.

In partnership with several companies (Utilities, Hardware provider, charging services) Energica will either co-finance the installations of dedicated chargers (DC technology 20kw, Combo CCS standard plugs) or facilitate the access to existing ones. A detail plan on routes is in process according to Energica dealership network and a first round of installations has been identified in some locations in Italy and in California to be deployed by 2017 season.
