Yates' European Vacation

This just in from friend of MO Bob Dragich: MotoAmerica racer Ashton Yates will be racing in the European Junior Cup at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain this weekend. The son of four-time AMA Champion Aaron Yates, Ashton finished third in the KTM RC390 Cup Championship for the 2016 season, scoring three wins along the way. (That’s Aaron on the right above, and granddad Luckey on the left.)
The European Junior Cup is held as a support series for the European rounds of the Superbike World Championship. It is open to riders aged 14 to 21 (23 for women). All riders compete on Honda CBR650F motorcycles.
The races this weekend will be live on YouTube, 5:55 am PDT both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
