It began when the brothers designed and manufactured their first customized accessory—a machined aluminum mirror—in a simple, family-run workshop. It didn’t take long for that beautifully designed mirror to become popular, and soon Rizoma was a booming business with a rapidly expanding product line.
Today, Rizoma is a worldwide organization with offices in France, Germany, Spain, and the U.S.A, and a product line of more than 1500 accessories showcased in catalogs that are distributed to more than 160 countries around the world.
Rizoma means “root,” rather appropriate given that the company remains firmly rooted in Milan’s fashion and design district, with its head office in Ferno and a growing production area covering more than 20,000 square feet.
