Expansion seems to be the term for YCRS in 2016. First it was Phoenix, then Denver, then Brainerd, now North Carolina, and New York state is in discussion as we write this. YCRS will bring the two-day ChampSchool to NCBike/NCCAR in Garysburg, NC Thursday and Friday, September 15-16.

“It’s going to be a busy but rewarding two weeks!” says Keith Culver of YCRS. “We’ll be prepping our 2014 R6s to sell after the September NJMP school (details to follow), then be at NJMP for the final round of MotoAmerica, then ChampSchool on Monday and Tuesday at NJMP, travel on Wednesday, and do another ChampSchool in North Carolina Thursday and Friday. It feels really good and rewarding to expand the gospel of Champions Habits and making more riders safer in more areas of the country.”

NCBike is a fun track located right off Interstate 95 barely south of the Virginia border. This great layout hosts a lot of track days but not much in the way of formal schools. Track manager Sam True has been wanting YCRS to get down for a while and is very excited that the riders of his track will have the opportunity to learn Champions Habits from the best instructors in the country. Properly trained riders will mean less drama for the riders that come out and enjoy the track…which is equally challenging in both directions.

Big thanks to Rob Cichielo of N2 Track Days who had us out last year to one of their events with our Sportbike Demo program. He planted the YCRS seed with NCBike. Another huge thanks to Bill Sink of EvolveGT Track Days. Evolve frequents NCBike and Sink has feverishly watered and fertilized that seed ever since getting involved with YCRS.

“When I started Evolve, I wanted to model it after the quality that N2 puts on at their days. My research showed that all of the principals of N2 and most of the staff were YCRS trained. This sets them apart from other clubs and control riders in the industry. After attending a ChampSchool in Arizona this past winter, I was hooked…kinda like after my first track day. I understood the success. This is the direction our sport needs to go and they are not kidding when they say Faster/Safer. I have a strong relationship with Sam at NCBike and immediately wanted to help get YCRS down to do a school. I am very happy that this vision will be coming to fruition.” – Bill Sink, EvolveGT

The dates are September 15-16. The location is NCBike (NCCAR officially) in Garysburg, NC. The program will be BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) but YCRS grads can reach out and see if we can fit a rental bike into the trailer. To register visit the home page and click “Enroll Today”.
