Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. would like to congratulate Team Babbitt’s/Monster Energy/AMSOIL Kawasaki on sweeping the top three positions in the AMSOIL Arenacross championship standings. Based in Muskegon, Michigan, Babbitt’s became a Kawasaki dealer in 1981 and in the 35 years since, has become a cherished part of the Kawasaki family. 11 years ago Babbitt’s started a race team by taking advantage of the Kawasaki Team Green™ KX Racer Support Program. Since then they have become an Arenacross powerhouse, earning eight championships.
“Eddie Babbitt and Team Manager Denny Bartz have always been a pleasure to work with,” said Team Green Supervisor Ryan Holliday. “They’re dedicated to the AMA Arenacross series and the results speak for themselves. The team is a prime example of what we look for in a partner to represent Kawasaki’s racing efforts. In addition to the countless race wins and championships, the team now plays a critical role in the advancement of Team Green riders in the Road to Supercross program.”
“It’s been great working with Kawasaki over the years,” said Team Manager Denny Bartz. “We started with them in 2006 and 2007 competing in the BooKoo Arenacross series. Then in 2008 we competed in the AMA National Arenacross series now known as AMA AMSOIL Arenacross. It’s been awesome to work with such a great company, starting with the Team Green program and working up to the Pro Kawasaki team. Our focus now is to have a professional and championship caliber race team and I feel we’ve been able to provide that for our riders. 11 years with Kawasaki in the books and many more to come.”
