Thunder Valley Rally, presented by Law Tigers Motorcycle Lawyers, is set in the majestic Black Hills of Northern Arizona adjacent to Sedona and Jerome. The event takes place on Main Street in Old Town Cottonwood, founded in 1879, which is known for its bootlegging past. It is also home to such movies as Stay Away Joe and Desert Fury. Enjoy Free Main Street concerts by Molly Hatchet on Friday, Sept. 16 and Foghat on Saturday, Sept. 17. Openers include: 74th St. Band, Christopher Robin Band, Whiskey Rodeo, Crown Kings and Mogollon. The Bootlegging Poker Run takes place on Saturday with $2,000 in prize money, sponsored by Cottonwood Motorsports and Victory. Also on Saturday is the Miss TVR Pin-up Competition presented by Main Stage Theatre.

Historic Old Town Cottonwood is located on State Route 89A and can trace its scenic, traffic moving curves back to the days when it was merely a path through the countryside serving as a Native American trade route linking Southern Arizona to that of the north.

Contact the Cottonwood Recreation Center front desk at 928-639-3200 for more information.
