Leave it to a couple of mechanics from the Isle of Man to fit a Suzuki Bandit 600 four-cylinder motor to a mobility scooter that tops 100 mph, earning themselves a Guinness world record for World’s Fastest Mobility Scooter. David Anderson and Mathew Hine spent six months turning an innocent Days Strider mobility scooter (top speed not much) into a 107.6-mph beast at the end of the Isle’s Jurby Motodrome dragstrip.
