Ducati North America has today announced a change in leadership. Beginning January 1, 2016, current CEO Dominique Cheraki will move into a new position as Ducati Network Development Director at Ducati’s headquarters located in Borgo Panigale, Italy.

Taking Cheraki’s place as CEO of Ducati North America will be Jason Chinnock, whose territory covers the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Dominique Cheraki has been with Ducati for more than 18 years, first in Ducati France, then in Ducati West Europe and after that he has spent the last five years in the United States in his role as North American CEO of Ducati.

This is a homecoming of sorts for Jason Chinnock, as he worked for Ducati North America for eight years starting as National Sales Director until he became Sales and Marketing Director in 2009.

Jason has been working in Automobili Lamborghini America since 2013 as Marketing General Manager responsible for the development of the annual marketing plan as well as for communicating market requirements.

A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
