Each year MotoGP holds a preseason test at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, and while the test is generally known as a “winter” test, the temps in Sepang are usually blistering hot.

Nonetheless, Valentino Rossi took the “winter test” concept to heart, arriving with an AGV helmet sporting a humorous wool-beanie graphic—complete with symbols like snowflakes, deer and snow-covered trees. Now, AGV USA has a limited-edition Winter Test replica Corsa helmet in stock, and this time the season is actually appropriate.

From the AGV press release: “The Corsa was developed using AGV Extreme Standards, which employs Finite Element Analysis (FEM) to simulate impacts and virtually test the helmet’s strength prior to creation of a mold, achieving tangible, measurable improvements in protection, fit, comfort, reliability and environmental friendliness. It also has a carbon fiber/fiberglass/aramid fiber shell, an Integrated Ventilation System (IVS), and a wide field of vision. Best of all, each helmet comes with a special matching beanie!”

The AGV Rossi Winter Test replica Corsa helmet retails for $999.95 and is in limited supply. Visit the AGV website for more details.
