If you’re bummed out that you missed seeing three-time World Superbike champ Troy Bayliss racing flat track on a Lloyd Bros. Ducati (and had to settle for Troy Bayliss Races Sacramento Mile: No Country For Middle-Aged Men), you still have a shot. Bayliss, you’ll recall, crashed at the Sacramento Mile May 30 and broke his leg. The tenacious Taree Terrier Tweeted yesterday that he’ll be back for Springfield Mile II, September 6 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. When it comes to exciting motorcycle racing, AMA Pro Flat Track provides massive bang for your moto buck, along with the chance for serious Ducatisti to rub elbows with one of the brand’s greatest riders. Why not get back there early and take in the Peoria TT August 16?
