MotoVentures, one of the premier off-road motorcycle training centers, located in Southern California, has plenty of news to share with everyone. Headlining this news are SoCal training dates and summer time hours, plus dates for the 2015 Kids 2-day Summer Day Camps, the sixth year MotoVentures has been running these camps.

MotoVentures is also proud to announce that BMW has loaned the school use of a 2015 GS800A, which the crew has outfitted with bash plates, crash bars and Continental TKC80 tires. The bike will be used to showcase the MotoVentures’ Dirt First adventure bike training curricula. And yes, with some advanced notice, interested students will also be able to take the bike for a spin.

More news from MotoVentures includes dates for the company’s new SoCal 2-Day Adventure Bike Training Camps. You can take the course with your own adventure bike if you wish, or you can utilize the school’s Yamaha dirtbikes.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
