Yamaha Motor Indonesia released a video teasing an event on June 6. The teaser makes use of the hastag #Nakedvolution and heavily features Yamaha’s MT-series models (better known in North America as the FZ line). Based on the motorcycles appearing in the video, the event may be to introduce more models from the family to Indonesia (the MT-09/FZ-09 is the only one currently available) but, if recent spy photos are any indication, the event may also be the launch of the new MT-25.

Over the last couple of months, Indonesian blogs such as TMCBlog have uncovered spy photos and other news about the upcoming MT-25, the naked version of the YZF-R25 offered in some markets. The R25, of course, is essentially a smaller-displacement version of the R3 offered in western markets, so it’s not a huge logical leap to expect the MT-25 will be followed by an MT-03 or FZ-03.

Here’s a video uploaded by TMCBlog showing the spy images of a motorcycle clearly marked as a Yamaha MT-25:

Below is another video uploaded earlier this month of a stunt rider riding a motorcycle that looks like the MT-25 seen in spy photos.

The video uploaded by Yamaha Motor Indonesia makes no mention of the MT-25. In fact, most of the footage centers around the Europe-only MT-125, MT-07 and MT-09. As we noted, only the MT-09 is currently offered in Indonesia, so the June 6 event may simply be the launch of these other MT models already available in other markets.

With the hype surrounding the MT-25 however, it wouldn’t be surprise if Yamaha chose to reveal the new MT-25 at the event as well, and hopefully we’ll see a FZ-03 for North America soon after.
