From an AMA press release:

Members of the American Motorcyclist Association now have privileged access to revolutionary Sena Technology products for less, thanks to an exclusive discount from the AMA’s newest member-benefit partner.

“Modern technology enhances the ride, and we’re pleased that a global leader in cool tech for motorcyclists is supporting the AMA with an exclusive discount for our members,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey.

AMA members receive a 15 percent discount off Sena Technology products purchased at www.sena.com. The code for activating the discount is available in the Members Only section of www.americanmotorcyclist.com.

“We’ve been first and foremost dedicated to the unique needs and perspectives of motorcycle riders,” said Tae Kim, president and CEO of Sena Technologies Inc. “Our proud partnership with the AMA will enable its members to share their unique experiences using our category-defining ‘audio action camera’ technology and award-winning Bluetooth-powered communication systems. We’re proud to offer an exclusive discount promo code for AMA riders, and we look forward to continuing our everlasting support of the motorcycle community across the United States and beyond.”

Sena Technology’s creations are highly engineered solutions focused on distinct motorcycle and outdoor sports needs and perspectives. As an example, the company’s Prism Bluetooth “audio action camera” interfaces seamlessly with Sena communication units to allow riders to share a unique mix of voice and visual. Stunt rider Jason Britton demonstrates this integration in the following video: http://vimeo.com/112128971.

In addition to providing this special member benefit, Sena Technology is sponsoring a number of AMA riding series in 2015. Sena is the title sponsor of AMA Flash Tours, a supporting sponsor of the AMA Long Rider Program, a supporting sponsor of the AMA Premier Touring Series, a supporting sponsor of the Beta AMA National Dual Sport Series and a supporting sponsor of the Yamaha Super Ténéré National Adventure Riding Series. Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
