Honda revealed a new adventure-styled concept that combines elements of the CRF250L dual sport and the company’s CRF450 Rally racer.

The concept is powered by the CRF250L’s engine, which itself was derived from the CBR250R‘s 249.6cc Single. Visually, the concept is a mini-rally racer, including the tall windscreen and sponsor labels, though oddly with Michelin rubbers instead of the works machine’s Metzelers.

At the moment, the CRF250 Rally is only a concept, but with most of the essential components having already proved themselves with the CRF250L, it shouldn’t take much for Honda to turn it into a production model.

The CRF250 Rally will make its public debut at this weekend’s Osaka Motorcycle Show alongside the SFA streetfighter concept, the RC213V-S MotoGP replica, the True Adventure concept and another yet-to-be-revealed new concept model.
