Bel-Ray Releases Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil
Bel-Ray today announced the release of its new Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil for motorcycle transmissions and final drives.
Formulated from fully synthetic base oils, Bel-Ray’s Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Oil offers a level of protection, performance and oil service life far beyond that of mineral oils. The synthetic hypoid gear oil features extreme pressure chemistry to prevent damage from metal to metal contact of sliding gear contacts, even under high shock loads, while also minimizing friction for smoother shifting and maximum power transfer.
“There’s nothing more frustrating than being slowed down by a rough, clunky shifting transmission,” said Scott Lukaitis, Bel-Ray Brand Manager. “We developed this synthetic gear oil to help ensure that riders are always performing at their best.”
Bel-Ray’s Gear Saver Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil is suitable for use in all motorcycle final drives and dry clutch transmissions requiring hypoid gear oil as well as front and rear differentials, including limited-slip differentials that specify the use of an API GL-5 fluid.
