Being a world-class motorcycle racer isn’t easy. In order to compete at a high level, the very best train non-stop. Ken Roczen, the 2014 450 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross champion was in for a surprise as he stepped up to the premier class this year.

In this video, follow RCH Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ken Roczen as he prepares for the upcoming 2015 AMA/ FIM World Supercross series in this behind-the-scenes ‘day in the life of’ video produced by Transworld Motocross.

The 16-minute documentary follows the 2014 AMA Motocross Champion from breakfast at his home in Clermont, Florida to ‘The Bakery’ circuit for training and testing on his Factory RM-Z450; then onto team co-owner Carey Hart’s ‘Hart and Huntington’ local tattoo studio in Orlando for some commemorative body art. Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
