Isle of Man TT 2014: Racer Bob Price Killed in Supersport TT 1

Veteran road racer Bob Price was killed in the first Supersport TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Event organizers ACU Events Ltd. confirmed Price’s passing following a crash at Ballaugh on the third lap of the race.

Price, 65, was from Stroud, Glocester, where he owned an auto body shop. Price was an experienced road racer, debuting in the 1992 Isle of Man TT and regularly competing in the Manx Grand Prix’s Classic races. Price’s racing highlights include taking third place in the Junior Classic and second in the Senior Classic at the 2002 Manx Grand Prix.

A coroner is investigating the circumstances of Price’s accident.
