Indian Motorcycle has announced an events schedule for Daytona Bike Week for Indian owners to enjoy. Owners of all Indian models – from the current era to the marque’s historic past – are welcome to attend and be lavished with the special attention the manufacturer feels they deserve.

Indian Motorcycle Daytona Beach Kick-start Party: On Saturday March 8th, beginning at 7:30 p.m., Indian hosts a party at the Full Moon Saloon on Main Street. All that is required to enter the party is an Indian key between 7:30–9:00p.m. Once inside, the owners’ VIP treatment will range from a special announcement from Mike Wolfe, star of “American Pickers,” to swag giveaways. One attendee will be awarded the unique opportunity to enjoy an “Epic One-Year Demo Ride” which will give them a year-long lease of an Indian Motorcycle.

Indian Motorcycle Owner Exclusive Meet & Greet with Mike Wolfe: A special owner video will be filmed with Mike Wolfe at the Indian Motorcycle Main Street Store on 506 Main Street on Sunday, March 9 from 9:00–10:00 a.m. Again, all that is required for entry is an Indian key. Once inside, the Indian owners will be able to take part in an Indian video event that will be shown to riders around the world.

Indian Motorcycle “Panel of Firsts”: The Indian Motorcycle Midway Display at the Daytona International Speedway will be the location for special interview recording sessions in which owners of Indian’s past and present get to share their Indian stories and help them become part of Indian’s rich history. Folks who own any Indian Motorcycle from 1901 to 2014 are welcome to participate.

Indian Motorcycle Owner’s Daytona Pin: Also, while supplies last, all owners of heritage or current Indians will receive a free 2014 Daytona Bike Week pin when they show their key at any Indian Motorcycle’s Bike Week locations.

While on his way to a planned life in academia, he applied for a job at a motorcycle magazine, thinking he’d get the opportunity to write some freelance articles. Instead, he was offered a full-time job in which he discovered he could actually get paid to ride other people’s motorcycles – and he’s never looked back. Over the 25 years he’s been in the motorcycle industry, Evans has written two books, 101 Sportbike Performance Projects and How to Modify Your Metric Cruiser, and has ridden just about every production motorcycle manufactured.
