Not everybody wants to wear bulky motorcycle gear around the city – especially to work. However, regular pants won’t protect you in a crash. We saw some new jeans in the Rev’It! booth at the American International Motorycycle Expo in Orlando, Fla. that offer both protection and style.

As you might expect, these are no ordinary jeans. Combined with denim is a material called PWR | Shield, which Rev’It! boasts offers unsurpassed cut, tear and abrasion resistance. In fact, Rev’It! says the material will protect a rider through more than a five second slide on asphalt – longer than leather.

Other features of the jeans include adjustable Knox Lite protection in the knees, pockets for hip protectors, relocated crotch seam for more freedom of movement, 3M Scotchlite reflective material on the cuffs and triple needle stitching – three separate seams stitched parallel to each other for additional strength and durability.
