2013 AIMExpo: Adaptiv Technology GlowRider Vest and Jacket – Video
While many motorcycle vests and jackets feature material that glows in the dark, we saw one product take it to the next level at the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Fla.
Adaptiv Technology’s GlowRider Vest and Jacket feature electro-luminescent technology. For the uninitiated, these are thin, flexible strips that light up, offering enhanced visibility for night time riding. According to Adaptiv, the strips are powered by two AA batteries that last approximately 70 hours in flashing mode. Should the batteries ever fun down while you are on your ride, both the GlowRider Vest and Jacket also feature reflective material.
