Finding the right windshield for your motorcycle can be a challenge, as you won’t really know it will feel to you unless you ride with. MadStad Engineering aims to take the guesswork out of motorcycle windshields with its adjustable system we saw at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo.

According to Madstad, its system uses a set of adjustable brackets that separate the windshield from the motorcycle, allowing air to flow underneath. This is designed to eliminate the vacuum that normally forms behind the shield, which in turn should eliminate any turbulence.

The MadStad system allows users to adjust up and down or back and forth. With a bit of tinkering, the end user should be able to find the perfect setup for the smoothest ride possible. MadStad owner Mark Stadnyk says it’s like having a thousand different sizes in one windshield. Hopefully we’ll be able to get our hands on one to find out for ourselves.
