Bell Helmets and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca today unveiled a commemorative helmet in honor of the 2013 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, taking place July 19-21 at the famed Northern California raceway.

The commemorative Bell Star Carbon helmet features a breathtaking custom finish by renowned air-brush artist Chris Wood of Santa Barbara-based paint shop Airtrix, with graphics that pay tribute to Northern California’s historic Cannery Row.

A limited run of the helmet is available for online purchase during the weeks leading up to the event, as well as onsite during race weekend at the Mazda Raceway Superstore. In 2012, Bell and Mazda Raceway partnered on a small

run of commemorative helmets that were used solely for promotional purposes prior to and during the race weekend, paving the way for this year’s expanded program.

“The response from athletes and fans to last year’s special edition commemorative helmet was so positive that expanding and allowing race fans to purchase the helmet in 2013 was a no-brainer for us,” said Chris Sackett, General Manager, Bell Powersports.

The limited edition commemorative Bell Star Carbon is available online at http://store.mazdaraceway.com/store/category/14/171/Helmet/.
