The largest Mods vs. Rockers event in the country is taking place Friday and Saturday June 14 and 15 in Chicago.

Mods vs. Rockers, Chicago is presented by Triumph Motorcycles and will feature over 4000 cafe racers, scooters, customs and hot rods. There will also be live music, pin-up contests, a motorcycle film festival and a dance party going on all night.

If that’s not enough entertainment, Team Empire’s Nick Brocha and Ernie Vigil will be putting on a freestyle exhibition throughout the two day event.

Friday’s action will start at the Cobra Lounge, at 235 N. Ashland Ave. from 6 – 9pm, then will continue at the Fat Cat, at 4840 N. Broadway, until the last person leaves. Saturday’s activities start at noon at the Aragon Entertainment Center, located at 1106 W. Lawrence Ave.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
