This weekend, the AMA Pro Roadracing circus makes its way to Road America for round two of the series. Before festivities on track get started, however, here’s your chance to meet Dainese-sponsored rider Geoff May as the D-Store Chicago will be hosting a meet and greet on Thursday, May 30, starting at 4pm.

The event will include raffle prizes, with proceeds benefitting W.I.N.G.S., an organization providing integrated services to families, in an effort to end domestic violence and homelessness. Other attendees will include motorsport artist Alex Wakefield, D.R.I.L.L. — Ducati Riders of Illinois, Motoworks of Chicago, and EBR — Erik Buell Motorcycles, who provide May’s 1190RS superbike. If you didn’t know, Erik Buell Motorcycles are designed and manufactured just down the road in East Troy, Wisconsin.

The D-Store Chicago is located at 1408 N. Meacham Rd., Schaumburg, Illinois, 60173. For more information, call the store at (224) 653-8232, send an email to d-store.chicago@dainese.com, like them at Facebook.com/dstorechicago or follow them on Twitter @dstorechicago.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
